Lauren began her career with Munich Re as a Risk Analyst as part of the Graduate Trainee Program in 2008 before joining the Public Entity Risk Solutions (PERS) underwriting team. With a BBA from Wisconsin School of Business in Actuarial Science and Risk Management and Insurance, she went on to obtain her MBA at DePaul University and CPCU designation. In her “free time,” Lauren is a Sergeant First Class and Platoon Leader for the 132D Army Band of the WI National Guard. As a member of several ensembles, Lauren plays the saxophone and is the emcee for performances.

David is Head of Surety for Munich Re Specialty. Throughout his 36 years of industry experience, David held various underwriting and operations positions with a number of major surety carriers. Previously, he led the expansion of a specialty insurance company’s surety operations prior to its acquisition by another carrier.
David holds the Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) designation and is an officer on the CFMA Certification Board, in addition to memberships in numerous professional organizations.
He is a frequent speaker on timely surety topics. David earned B.S. in Mathematics from Lafayette College. In his spare time, he likes to golf, snowboard, and ski.

Lennox Marshall is the key contact for primary construction risks in the excess and surplus division of Munich Re Specialty – North America. He has nearly 20 years of experience as an underwriter and joined Munich Re Specialty – North America in 2020. Based in the Chicago office, he works with brokers to find the right products and solutions for contractors, with an emphasis on project-specific policies.
He graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Applied Science, majoring in Finance and Risk Management where he was also a member of the men’s basketball team. He started his career with The Harford before working for Ace Westchester, and Crum & Forster. In his free time, he is a skilled poker player who has qualified for the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
