Richard Alleyne Joins Munich Re America Services, Inc. as Chief Legal Officer of the Munich Re US P&C Companies

    Munich Re America Services, Inc. today announced the appointment of Richard Alleyne to the position of Chief Legal Officer, Munich Re US P&C Companies. Alleyne will be based in Hartford, Conn. and report to Adrienne Mageras, Chief Operating Officer for Munich Re America Services, Inc., based in Princeton, N.J., with reporting responsibilities also to Tony Kuczinski, CEO of Munich Re US Holding.

    “Richard has a long and distinguished legal career partnering with business leaders to drive profitable growth, with significant experience across all lines of insurance, claims, reinsurance, litigation and corporate,” said Mageras.

    Alleyne brings over two decades of corporate experience across all lines of insurance, claims, reinsurance and litigation to Munich Re US P&C Companies. Most recently, he served as Deputy General Counsel and Head of the Business Law Group for an insurance and financial services organization. In that role, he led a highly experienced team of legal professionals providing strategic and tactical support to the Property & Casualty and Group Benefits business.

    Alleyne holds a Juris Doctor degree from Syracuse University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Dartmouth College. In 2018, he was named Corporate Leader of the Year by the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA).
