    Chief Risk Officer, North America (Life and Health)

    Mr. Taht is the executive responsible for assessing and helping to mitigate operational, compliance, regulatory, and strategic risks at Munich Re Life US. He joined Munich Re in November 2008 as Senior Vice President, Life Reinsurance. Before joining Munich Re, Mr. Taht was a principal with Towers Perrin, a large international actuarial consulting firm, where he consulted on issues such as securitization of individual life business, mortality issues, and appraisals of life reinsurance and life insurance companies.
