Mark Costello
Senior Vice President, Group and Living Benefits Reinsurance

With over 30 years of insurance industry experience, Mr. Costello drives the performance of Munich Re’s U.S. Group and Living Benefits Reinsurance business as well as its in-force management operations. He directs a diverse team of specialists who provide actuarial, underwriting, and claims expertise to industry-leading group and living benefits insurance providers. Mr. Costello is also executive sponsor of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for North American life entities.

Before joining Munich Re as a long-term care pricing actuary in 2003, Mr. Costello held roles at Bankers Life & Casualty, Washington National, Pioneer Financial Services, and Canada Life.
