Shawn Elliott

Senior Vice President, North America People and Workplace Experience 

Mr. Elliott is Senior Vice President of People and Workplace Experience at Munich Re North America (Life and Health) and a member of the U.S. executive leadership team. His responsibilities include the development and oversight of Munich Re’s people strategy for the Life and Health business in Canada and the U.S.

Since joining Munich Re in 2009, Mr. Elliott has held a variety of roles in the Company, all focused on building and supporting high-performance teams. This includes time spent at Munich Re’s home office in Munich, Germany, as well as many years in Toronto, Canada. He is currently based in New York City.

Prior to joining Munich Re, Mr. Elliott was Director of Recruitment at TELUS, where he oversaw the strategy and operations for all facets of talent acquisition and has more than 25 years of HR management experience.
