    The Risk Review Actuary works alongside the UK CRO, UK Risk Management team and Munich central functions in strengthening the UK Branch’s Actuarial and Enterprise Risk Management capabilities, striking the correct balance between risk and commercial considerations.

    In addition to this they will support the ongoing production of Regulatory Reports required to the PRA and FCA with the UK Branch as a Third Country Branch post-Brexit.

    Longevity Execution Actuary

    As a Longevity Execution Actuary, you will play a key role in enabling the Longevity team secure, execute and manage profitable new business by acting as an execution and in-force expert. They will do this by working closely with the Head of In-Force and Longevity Execution Actuary to ensure robust processes are in place from deal exclusivity, through the execution process, and ongoing in-force management.

    Longevity Pricing Actuary

    You will be a member of the Longevity Pricing team, supporting the Pricing Leads in the deliverables of the team. You will also assist the more junior members of the team, providing technical expertise and guidance and also checking their work where appropriate.

    Longevity Actuarial Analyst 

    You will be a member of the Longevity pricing team and part of the wider Pricing division.

    The team is responsible for delivery of quotes; inputting in to deal executions; supporting client requests; monitoring of experience on inforce treaties for reporting purposes, and more. 

    The wider division also covers Pricing for Longevity and Structured reinsurance. Where there is appetite we would look to offer future opportunities to get exposure to the other lines of business as well. 

     

    Senior Data Scientist 

    You will be responsible for taking a leading role in the delivery of UK Life Branch's Predictive Analytics initiative to support growth across all its lines of business by harnessing data-model-driven insights to meet our ambitions.  

    Pricing Infrastructure Manager

    You will be a senior member of the Pricing division, taking a leading role in the work that the team delivers. They will be ultimately responsible for managing all systems, tools and infrastructure across the Pricing division, for all lines of business (Longevity, Protection and Structured Reinsurance).

    Infrastructure Developer 

    You will be a technical and coding expert, responsible for ensuring continuous improvements of the systems and tools used within the Pricing division, across all lines of business. This includes leading on transformation projects to ensure that the tools used continue to meet the needs of the business, and managing development and testing.

    Data Scientist 

    You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of Predictive Analytics initiatives to support growth across all its lines of business by harnessing data-model-driven insights to meet our  ambitions.  

    Senior Basis Development Actuary 

    You will be responsible for taking a leading role in the delivery of UKLB’s Basis Development for both Protection and Longevity lines of business. The team is responsible for the regular review of existing basis and terms of trade, as well as supporting proposition development through the setting of appropriate assumptions, as well as providing the biometric element of proposition development.  

    Actuarial Analyst 

    You will be a member of the Protection pricing team and part of the wider Pricing division.

    The team is responsible for delivery of quotes (which includes both production of data/Biometric analysis and Pricing deliverables); inputting in to deal executions; supporting client requests; monitoring of experience on inforce treaties for reporting purposes; supporting the Basis development team in the review of assumptions for both existing and new propositions; and supporting the Infrastructure and Tools team with continued improvement and maintenance of our tools and processes.  

     

    Pricing Actuary 

    The role holder will be a member of the Protection Pricing team, supporting the Pricing Leads in the deliverables of the team. They will also assist the more junior members of the team, providing technical expertise and guidance and also checking their work where appropriate.

    Pricing Manager

    The role holder will be a manager within the Protection Pricing team. They will have line management responsibility and will be responsible for checking and reviewing the work of other colleagues within the team.
