Biography

Terry Dyson joined HSB UK and Ireland in 2019 and was appointed to Managing Director – Engineering Insurance in 2024, responsible for the strategic and operational leadership for business development, partnership management, marketing and communications, strategy and innovation, governance and framework management, and trading underwriting.

From 2022 to 2024, Terry was Director of Business Development and Distribution, and from 2019 to 2022, was Commercial Director. 

Prior to joining HSB, Terry was UK Business Development Director - Commercial Risk Solutions for RSA. His career includes various senior sales management roles within RSA and National Vulcan.

Terry has over 35 years' experience in the engineering and insurance industry, developing and successfully implementing distribution and business development strategies, managing key client and customer relations and ensuring regulatory compliance for intermediaries.
