    Leona Au, Assistant Vice President

    Leona leads HSB Canada’s High Hazard EB and All Risk Renewable Energy portfolios within the TRusT team. These lines of business reinforce leadership in technical underwriting and risk engineering.

    Leona joined HSB Canada as an Account Executive in May 2016. Her background in Project Engineering and Project Management in the fields of renewable energy, bio-ethanol and mining continue to complement her technical underwriting experience. The Board of Directors appointed her Assistant Vice President in 2023.

    Leona holds a B.Sc.(Honours) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto, is a Professional Engineer and holds her CRM designation. She is an executive member of the Canadian Boiler & Machinery Underwriters Association and Chair of its conference committee.
