HSB’s Custom Accounts Division Underwriting Academy provides the foundation to unlock the path to a rewarding career in underwriting and beyond. This engaging program provides a well-rounded experience with exposure to senior leadership, field experience, and a global network. This is not your average classroom learning experience.

Candidates are hired into a full-time professional level associate role and participate in a carefully planned and robust training experience. The goal of the program is promotion into a full Production Underwriter role with binding authority within one year of joining HSB. The successful candidate can look forward to a planned career path with options to grow and learn multiple specialty lines of insurance, including all-risk renewable energy and cyber liability.
