David is Head of Surety for Munich Re Specialty – North America. Throughout his 36 years of industry experience, David held various underwriting and operations positions with a number of major surety carriers. Previously, he led the expansion of a specialty insurance company’s surety operations prior to its acquisition by another carrier.  

David holds the Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) designation and is an officer on the CFMA Certification Board, in addition to memberships in numerous professional organizations.  

He is a frequent speaker on timely surety topics. David earned  B.S. in Mathematics from Lafayette College. In his spare time, he likes to golf, snowboard, and ski.
