Corporate Responsibility Portal Update 2017/2018

Corporate responsibility and transparency are important to us. On our updated Corporate Responsibility Portal, we show how we are living up to this approach.

On this platform, which is also our sustainability report 2018, Munich Re sets out how we live up to our responsibility across the Group. Here, we present our corporate responsibility strategy, which is based on the shared value approach, along with concrete measures and solutions we implement in our core business in order to act responsibly and sustainably.

Examples of new features on the portal include reports on our Group-wide initiative "Tackling Climate Change Together", our cooperation with the City Innovation Platform and Munich Re spin-offs for sustainable development. The portal also serves as our Communication on Progress to the UN Global Compact (UNGC) and contains reports on our voluntary commitments to the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and the Principles for Sustainable Insurance (PSI).
