Munich Re still represented on PSI Board

The Board of the Principles for Sustainable Insurance (PSI) Initiative was re-appointed in March. Lucia Rückner, Senior Corporate Responsibility Consultant, was admitted to the Board as a member and is responsible with immediate effect for social issues, an area which covers human rights and wider social issues.

In recent years, Munich Re (Group) has played an active part in developing the Principles for Sustainable Insurance (PSI) of the United Nations Environmental Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI). These were introduced in June 2012. Munich Re (Group) is one of the initial signatories, and has been a member of the PSI's Board ever since. To date, more than 100 companies and institutions around the world have signed up to the PSI. Its resolutions include criteria on environmental, social and governance issues (ESG).
