With over 38,700 employees and agents worldwide, ERGO Group AG offers customers a comprehensive range of insurance products.

Under the umbrella of ERGO Group AG, three units - ERGO Deutschland AG, ERGO International AG and ERGO Technology & Services Management AG - manage the business and activities of the ERGO Group. The German and international business as well as the global management of IT and technology services are bundled in each of these units.

Through ERGO, we offer products in all major lines of insurance: life insurance, German health insurance, almost all lines of property and casualty insurance, travel insurance and legal expenses insurance. In combination with assistance and services as well as personalised advice, we cover the needs of private and corporate customers.

At €20.1 billion, ERGO Group generated around a third of the insurance revenue from insurance contracts concluded by Munich Re Group in the 2023 financial year.

MEAG MUNICH ERGO AssetManagement GmbH manages Munich Re’s investments worldwide and offers its expertise to private and institutional investors. MEAG handles all main asset classes. This includes interest-bearing securities, equities, real estate, renewable energies, and infrastructure.
