You haven't completely planned your summer vacation and would like to get an insight into the working world of Munich Re before you finish school? Then apply for our two-week summer internship. Here you can find out exactly what we do as a reinsurer and why our staff have so much fun in their jobs.

In a nutshell

Weeks

You will look over the shoulders of our experts during their daily work. Our vocational trainees will actively accompany you through the internship and support you in your tasks.

Personal mentor

We don't want coffee, we want you to take home answers, impressions and background information that will make your career choice easier. That's why - in addition to our colleagues - you'll also have a personal mentor to offer advice and support.

150 €

Compensation per week

You may also be interested to know that your commitment and curiosity will be rewarded with a total of 300 euros.

Exciting project

You will work on a project on a current topic in a group. At the end of your summer internship, you and other interns will present the results to your supervisors.

What we´re looking for

You have..

Interest in our industry and a large dose of motivation and curiosity to learn new things every day during the two weeks.

You are..

you are in the 10th or 11th grade of a Gymnasium or in the 9th grade of a Realschule, i.e. at least 15 years old and you have not yet completed your school education.

Due to limited capacity, we unfortunately cannot guarantee you a spot for the summer internship. After receiving your application (deadline is the end of March of the year in which you would like to do the internship), we will first review all applications before making a decision.

The internship will take place from August 5-16, 2024.
