    Munich Re: The Company History 1880-1980 is a book by historians Johannes Bähr and Christopher Kopper about our corporate history. From the company's founding in 1880 and through the years of challenges it has faced, especially as a result of the two world wars, it is an excellent resource for learning more about our head office and international organization.
