Munich Re, Canada (Life) Names Selena Puttick as Vice President and Chief Underwriter

Munich Reinsurance Company’s Canadian life branch today announced the appointment of Selena Puttick as Vice President and Chief Underwriter.

A 30-plus-year industry veteran, Puttick will be responsible for the company's underwriting function, which provides underwriting and individual risk assessment services to life and health insurance carriers in Canada, Bermuda, and the Caribbean. Puttick will lead Munich Re's team of life and health underwriting experts in Canada as they deploy best practices and standards that support the insurance carriers’ evolving risk management needs while driving superior risk selection. Puttick will report to Michael Correa, Senior Vice President of Reinsurance Solutions, Munich Re, Canada (Life).

Puttick earned a diploma in Business Administration at Wilfrid Laurier University, is a Fellow of the Academy of Life Underwriting (FALU), and a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI).
