Profile
MISS Health (Munich Re Interactive Solvency II Seminar Health) is a one-day seminar that uses case studies to demonstrate how various reinsurance programmes affect the economic balance sheet and, more especially, the solvency ratio of a specimen non-life health insurance company.
Following an introduction to Solvency II methodology and the Quantitative Impact Studies (QISs), participants work through the subject in working groups before taking part in a discussion.
In this way, participants learn to appreciate the risk-capital-relief effect of reinsurance and its impact on the balance sheet and profit and loss account.
